Top 10 Meaningful Anime That Teaches Life Lessons

What’s the meaning of watching anime if we don’t get any lessons on life from it. Some lesson’s can be very cruel and intimidating while others can help in character development and to strive forward. So here is a list of anime that you should watch to know the value of life and appreciate it whilst you can , who knows when the tragedy might hit us.

10.Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (8.0)

After a massive earthquake in Tokyo 25 km under the sea at a magnitude of 8.0, siblings Mirai and Yūki, who were visiting a robot exhibition in Odaiba at the beginning of their summer vacation, struggle to reach their parents.
Enlightenment: it takes just one big natural disaster to wipe all that away and remind us that, here on Earth, we’re still at the mercy of nature.
 

9.Angel Beats (8.0)

The story of the Angel Beats! anime series follows the main protagonist Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. Upon awakening in the afterlife, he meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Shinda Sekai Sensen (SSS).
Enlightenment:The worst things in life come free to us.
 

8.Full Moon wo Sagashite (Searching for the Full Moon) (8.1)

Twelve-year-old Mitsuki Kouyama is a talented girl who dreams of becoming a singer, but she is afflicted with sarcoma(A sarcoma is a cancer that arises from transformed cells of mesenchymal origin), which is curable only through a surgery that could ruin her vocal cords, and lose her ability to sing.
Enlightenment: Sometimes, you don’t get what you want the most… At other times, you’re just lucky.
 

7.Tokyo Ghoul (8.2)

The story follows Ken Kaneki, a college student who barely survives a deadly encounter with Rize Kamishiro, his date who reveals herself as a ghoul, he is taken to the hospital in critical condition. After recovering Kaneki discovers that he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul.
Enlightenment: Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaurant filled with odd little waiters who bring you things you never asked for and don’t always like.
 

6.Clannad (8.2)

The story follows the main character Tomoya Okazaki, a discontent high school student whose life changes when he meets a girl one year older than he is, named Nagisa Furukawa.

Enlightenment : If u cannot see the bright side of your life polish the dull side.
 

5.Elfen Lied(8.2)

The series is centered around the teenage Diclonius girl called Lucy who is said to be the first Diclonius (mutant species). Rejected by Humans, she begins a subsequent murderous vengeance upon them.
Enlightenment: Revenge is an act of passion; vengeance of justice. Injuries are revenged ; crimes are avenged
 

4.Naruto(8.2)

I don’t really need to describe about this. But let’s learn the lesson (you probably know it ).
Enlightenment: From the viewpoint of absolute truth, what we feel and experience in our ordinary daily life is all delusion. Of all the various delusions, the sense of loneliness between oneself and others is the worst form, as it creates nothing but unpleasantness.
 

3.Psycho-Pass (8.3)

Justice, and the enforcement of it, has changed. In the 22nd century, Japan enforces the Sibyl System, an objective means of determining the threat level of each citizen by examining their mental state for signs of criminal intent, known as their Psycho-Pass. Into this world steps Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with an honest desire to uphold justice.
Enlightenment: The more laws the less justice.
 

2.Bakuman (8.4)

As a child, Moritaka Mashiro dreamt of becoming a mangaka But when tragedy strikes, he gives up on his dream. One day, his classmate Akito Takagi, the school’s top student and aspiring writer, notices the detailed drawings in Moritaka’s notebook. Seeing the vast potential of his artistic talent, Akito approaches Moritaka, proposing that they become mangaka together.
Enlightenment: Don’t dream your life, live your dreams.
 

1. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (8.9)

Piano prodigy Kōsei Arima dominated the competition and has become famous among child musicians. After his mother, who was also his instructor, died, he had a mental breakdown . As a result, he is no longer able to hear the sound of his piano even though his hearing is perfectly fine. However, everything changes when he meets a beautiful violinist, Kaori Miyazono, who stirs up his world and sets him on a journey to face music again.
Enlightenment : We don’t meet people by accident , they are meant to cross our path for a reason.
