Ten anime for starters! Firstly this isn’t ranked. As very one has their own choices. And yeah i’m not going to go into much details about the anime(that would be spoilers xD)
#1 Dragon Ball Z
Genre:Martial Arts and Comedy Created By:Akira Toriyama IMDb:8.9/10 A must watch! My personal favorite show. Dragon ball Z commonly abbreviated as DBZ is based on the adventures of a dude named Goku(Kakarot:Saiyan name) along with the Z fighters, who defend the earth from evil. Amazing transformations and brutal fights something you don’t wanna miss! By the way Y.O.L.O? nah not in DBZ
#2 Death Note
Genre:Detective fiction, Supernatural and Psychological thriller! IMDb:8/10 Death note…. based on a teenager named Light Yagami who finds a supernatural notebook from a Shinigami(God of death) named Ryuuk that grants him to kill anyone. The procedure is easy The user must write the name of the person who has to be killed and he must keep that person’s face in mind so people with same names aren’t affected plus he can write the cause of death too! There are many twists too! Interesting right?
#3 Naruto
Genre:Action Adventure and fillers(Jk) IMDb:7.9/10 SASUKE! One of the tailed beast the nine tails, is sealed inside a boy named Naruto Uzumaki making him a jinchuuriki. We get to see how he over comes all the odds and many more interesting scenes! There is too much to tell :3
#4 One Punch Man
Genre:Action, Parody and Superhero IMDb:9.5/10 Saitama a hero for fun, the protagonist, is an incredibly powerful hero who needs one punch to defeat monsters. On his adventure his meets many weird enemies and other heroes, and he gets himself his own disciple a cyborg named Genos who has his own story! And yeah Just one punch!
#5 Tokyo Ghoul
Genre:Dark Fantasy IMDb:8.2/10 The Story follows Kaneki Ken, a student who barely survives a deadly encounter with his crush who turns out to be a ghoul Rize,a creature that consumes human flesh as food. Some of the ghoul’s organs are transplanted into kaneki making him half ghoul half human and the story goes on!
#6 Hunter x Hunter
Genre:Action,Adventure and fantasy IMDb:9/10 The story focuses on a dude named Gon Freecss , who discovers that his father isn’t dead but is actually alive and a world-renowned hunter isn’t that cool? Despite being abandoned by his father, Gon departs upon a journey to follow in his father’s footsteps, pass the rigorous Hunter Examination, and eventually find his father. Along the way, Gon meets various other Hunters and also encounters the paranormal.
#7 Fullmetal Alchemist
Genre:Action, Adventure and Science fantasy IMDb:8.7/10 Story based on Edward(To your left) and Alphonse Elric(to your right) who live with their mother Trisha and their father, the latter having left home for an unknown reason.
When their mother dies of the plague, the brothers perform the forbidden alchemic technique of human transmutation in an attempt to resurrect her. Consequently, the transmutation backfires and in law with equivalent exchange, Edward’s left leg and Alphonse’s entire body are destroyed.
Edward sacrifices his right arm to rescue Alphonse’s soul, binding it to a suit of armour with a blood seal which is pretty touchy. Edward is invited by Roy to become a State Alchemist to research a way to restore Alphonse’s body. Edward succeeds, becoming the Fullmetal Alchemist, the title based on his prosthetic automail limbs.
#8 Attack on Titan
Genre:Dark Fantasy IMDb:8.8/10 The story is based on the adventures of Eren Yeager, his foster sister, Mikasa Ackerman, and their childhood friend Armin Arlert, never mind the names. Eren watches in shock as one of the titans eats his mother. Vowing to kill all the Titans, Eren enlists in the military, along with his friends.
#9 Swords Art Online
Genre:Action, Adventure and Science fiction IMDb:8/10 In 2022, a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game called Sword Art Online (SAO) is released. With the NerveGear, a helmet that stimulates the user’s five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds.
On November 6, 10,000 players log into the SAO’s mainframe cyberspace for the first time and discover that they are unable to log-out. They quickly discover from Akihiko Kayaba, the creator of SAO and NerveGear, they must reach the 100th floor of the game’s castle and defeat the final boss if they wish to be free.
Those who suffer in-game destruction or remove the NerveGear out-of-game will result in their real-life deaths and thats how the story follows.
