10 Most Evil And Badass Anime Villains
A protagonist is only as good as his antagonist. Lets take a look at the most awesome, evil, and bad*$# anime villains! Keep in mind that this is MY list, and yours may be different. This topic is rather ambiguous, so there are bound to be differences in everybody’s list.
10. Father (Full Metal Alchemist)
Father makes it on the list by being one of the more mysterious villains, and for killing the most people of all other villains on this list. He’s killed millions and millions of people with his schemes and plots to gain more power. I was so confused when he was first introduced because he looked JUST LIKE HOHENHEIM! And when I first seen that, it puzzled me beyond words.
9. Vegeta (DBZ)
Now we all know Vegeta wasn’t a villain throughout the entire series, and he definitely wasn’t pure evil. But during his time as the bad guy, he was awesome. He was the strongest of the sayins at the time and would later become Gokus biggest rival. Plus he killed Nappa, which is always a nice touch.
8. Orochimaru (Naruto)
Orochimaru was the first villain in anime I ever hated. He killed the 3rd Hokage and made Sasuke turn into a rouge ninja. Out of all the villains in Naruto Orochimaru was the most ruthless and had no human side to him left. From using people as human experiments, to killing on a whim, Orochimaru was in my eyes the most evil Naruto villain.
7. Gotou (Parasyte)
Gotou was a villain that actually made me feel scared in a way that I never felt watching anime. He was an unstoppable monster many many times stronger than the protagonist. He was the ultimate “Final Boss” and for these reasons has earned a spot on this list.
6. Doflamingo (One Piece)
Doflamingo is so powerful that Law suggested that if Doflamingo resigns from his position, the Marines will send their top fighters, the admirals, against him. On top of being powerful he is also FABULOUS. As in he has really good style. Probably the best style out of all the villains on our list.
5. Jason (Tokyo Ghoul)
The reason Jason is on here and not the owl isnt because power or anything like that. It’s becuase Jason would define who Kaneki is as a character after he ruthlessly tortured him and broke him down. This is what gave Kaneki is power there after, so mad props to Jason.
4. Light (Death Note)
Light is an especially interesting villain because he is also the main character of the series so to speak. This means we follow him closely throughout and know exactly what’s going on in his head for the most part. Even though we wan’t him to lose to L, it’s hard to say goodbye to somebody you’ve been so closely following, even if he is evil.
3. Kid Buu (DBZ)
Kid Buu had this weird way of both freaking me out and making me laugh. And lets face it, he’s a way better villain than Frezia. He is powerful, comedic, and pure evil. Even if he doesn’t have the most depth he still somehow managed to capture my full attention and then some.
2. Madara (Naruto)
Madara completely stole the show from Naruto. They should of just changed the name to Madara Shippuden. He managed to fight and defeat all 5 Kage at once and win without even going all out. And on top of his power he is also very likable somehow. I love his cocky attitude because he can back it up 10 fold.
1.Johan Liebert (Monster)
Johan makes the top spot due to the simple fact that, he’s real. Now I know HE does not exist, but he is based directly off the behavior of serial killers, making him eerily realistic. He’s a charismatic, intelligent sociopath, literally the three main ingredient in most serial killers. And yes, getting people to kill others for you is still murder.
