Who/What Is Kaguya Otsutsuki?

Kaguya Otsutsuki,what is she really? A human, god, or chakra itself? is she immortal? Well we will get to find out here.

Even when i am writing this my blood is boiling up with excitement, as here we get to explore the mind blowing truth behind that “thing”, I referred to her as a things as we have yet to find out what “it” is.

This seems to solve the mystery behind this character’s name,she was first mentioned in Naruto shippuuden 381 when madara explains the origin of chakra to Hashirama.

She was a princess that was said to come from far away places and seeked peace during an era of endless wars between mankind.

She consumed the fruit of the Shinju and became the first wielder of chakra, in addition to fusing with the Shinju and becoming the Ten-Tails.

She possessed too much power such that people worshiped her as god and it started controlling her and then she was feared as the rabbit goddess.

As we all know, she had two sons who took the responsibility of sealing her when she went rampant and one of them came to be known as the sage of six paths.

Now a lot of questions arises, one could ask ” why did they seal her instead of killing her?”, she was very dangerous such that the best option will be to kill her.

Possible answers could be that maybe they didn’t possess enough power to kill her, so their only option was to seal her.

It might be reasonable to think that she was immortal but one could not be immortal by just being the juubi’s junchiruki, as seen on madara’s fight against guy as he said that he almost killed him which rules immortality out.

So the reasonable option is that they couldn’t defeat her, so she was sealed, but had a backup plan to return back to life, not that she was dead though.

From this point on it is no longer applicable that she is human nor god, because if you are to look on how she came back, you could see that first she needed a medium to host herself in, just like a tailed beast ( a chakra) or a spirit.

In this case she used madara’s body as a medium to revive herself and another thing is that in this case she can not be killed also, not that there wasn’t someone around to do so, but because she has evolved beyond mortality which is why the sage of six path offered his power to seal her

Just like the tailed beasts are she could not be killed a good characteristic of what chakra is, from the anime we all know that chakra can be sealed,

so it is more likely that kaguya has evolved to become chakra itself and will exist as long as there is time.
